WARRANTY

At She’s Electric Bike Co we stand behind the quality of our electric bicycles. Every bike is carefully manufactured, inspected and tested to ensure it meets our quality standards before reaching our customers.

This warranty applies to all electric bicycles purchased directly from us or through an authorised retailer of She’s Electric Bike Co electric bicycles.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

Your She’s Electric Bike Co electric bicycle is covered against defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use from the original date of purchase as follows:

Your She's Electric Bike Co. electric bicycle is covered against defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use for 2 years
from the original date of purchase.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

WHAT IS COVERED

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal recreational use and where the bicycle has been operated, maintained and serviced in accordance with the Owner's Manual.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed during the applicable warranty period, She’s Electric Bike Co will, at its discretion:

Repair the defective component.
Replace the defective component with the same or an equivalent part.
Replace the bicycle where required under the Australian Consumer Law.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover faults that are not the result of a manufacturing defect:

Normal wear and tear including tyres, tubes, brake pads, brake rotors, chains, cassettes, bearings, grips, pedals, cables, spokes, lights, saddles and other consumable components.
Routine servicing, adjustments and maintenance including brake tuning, derailleur adjustments, spoke tensioning and chain lubrication.
Minor adjustments required after transportation or delivery. As with all bicycles, components such as brakes and gears may require fine tuning after shipping.
Cosmetic damage that does not affect the safe operation of the bicycle, including scratches, paint chips, fading, minor blemishes or surface corrosion resulting from normal use.
Damage resulting from incorrect assembly, improper installation, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, collisions or failure to follow operating instructions.
Failure to perform routine maintenance or servicing.
Damage resulting from modifications or the installation of non-genuine or incompatible parts and accessories.
Damage resulting from aftermarket electrical modifications including non-approved batteries, motors, controllers, displays, throttles, wiring or software alterations.
Battery or charger damage caused by improper charging, incorrect storage, impact damage, misuse or exposure to excessive heat or moisture.
Damage caused by stunt riding, racing, downhill riding, mountain biking, jumps, ramps, tricks or any activity outside the intended use of the bicycle.
Damage caused by overloading the bicycle beyond its specified weight limits.
Damage resulting from improper transportation or storage.
Damage caused by environmental factors including flooding, hail, fire, saltwater exposure or natural disasters.

WATER RESISTANCE

Your She’s Electric Bike Co electric bicycle is designed to withstand normal riding in light to moderate rain.

However, it is water-resistant, not waterproof.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

Riding through deep water.
Submerging any electrical components.
Flooding.
High-pressure washing.
Prolonged exposure to heavy rain.
Saltwater exposure.

To maximise the life of your electrical system, we recommend cleaning your bicycle using a soft cloth, sponge and low-pressure water only.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

If you believe your bicycle has developed a manufacturing fault, please contact She’s Electric Bike Co before arranging any repairs.

To assess your claim, you may be asked to provide:

Proof of purchase.
Full name and contact details.
Bicycle model and serial number.
A clear written description of the fault.
Photographs and/or video showing the issue.
Any additional information reasonably requested to assist with the assessment.

Warranty claims are assessed by She’s Electric Bike Co. and are subject to inspection and approval.

Unauthorised repairs, modifications or replacement of parts before warranty approval may void this warranty.

LABOUR & SERVICE COSTS

Approved warranty replacement parts will be supplied free of charge, including standard postage within Australia where applicable.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, this warranty does not cover:

Labour charges.
Diagnostic fees.
Installation costs.
Removal costs.
Freight or transport costs associated with delivering the bicycle to a service provider.

Warranty repairs must be completed by She’s Electric Bike Co or an authorised She’s Electric Bike Co. service provider.

Authorised retailers or independent bicycle workshops may charge reasonable labour, fitting or diagnostic fees. These costs remain the responsibility of the customer.

LIMITATION OF WARRANTY

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only.

She’s Electric Bike Co. is not responsible for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage, including loss of income, loss of use or business interruption, to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have your goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
